Numerous crashes being reported in Rochester area
This afternoon, at least four crashes have happened in or near Rochester as snow falls. Two have involved injuries, however not serious ones.
Rollover on I-90 at U.S. 52
Emergency personnel are responding to a report of a rollover on Interstate ninety at U.S. 52. It shows up that the motorist was attempting to exit I-90 to get onto a ramp to U.S. 52.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that there are no injuries.
Report: Crash with injuries on U.S. Fourteen in Chester
Emergency personnel responded at Trio:05 to a report of a crash, with injuries, on U.S. Fourteen in Chester, according to an initial scanner report.
Traffic is blocked.
Car crashes into fresh Walgreens
A vehicle crashed into the fresh Walgreens at one thousand one hundred twelve Civic Center Dr. N.W. on Friday morning, demolishing one pane of glass on the storefront and knocking items off a shelf inwards. The crash also resulted in front-end harm to the vehicle. One witness said it appeared the motorist was attempting to park and overshot the parking spot.

Report: Car hits pedestrian on Assisi Drive, driver flees
The driver of a white Camaro hit a pedestrian on Assisi Drive at 19th Street Northwest at about 8:00 tonight; the pedestrian wasn’t hurt, according to an initial scanner report.
The driver fled the scene, according to the report.
Vehicle hits pedestrian next to Silver Lake
Police work the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian and an SUV Wednesday night on Broadway North at 14th Street N.W.
One person was taken by ambulance after being hit by a vehicle on North Broadway at 14th Street North, according to a police officer at the scene.
Crash in Kasson injures one
A two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway fifty seven in Kasson sent a 79-year-old Kasson woman to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the State Patrol, Phyllis Dorschner was eastbound on 11th Street Northeast when her vehicle collided with a car driven by 17-year-old Justin D. Roe of Dodge Center. Roe was northbound on Highway 57. The crash was reported at Three:50 p.m.
Dorschner was transported to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester with minor injuries. Roe was evidently unhurt.
The Kasson Police Department assisted at the scene.
Snowmobiler dies in crash
ISANTI — A snowmobiler has died in an eastern Minnesota crash.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident which happened about eight p.m. Tuesday in Bradford Township.
WCCO-TV reports a 25-year-old man from Isanti hit a tree on his snowmobile and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man dies of apparent exposure to cold in southwest Minn.
KENNETH — Wintry weather shows up to be a factor in the death of a southwestern Minnesota man.
Law officers were called Tuesday morning to a county road near Kenneth on a report that someone had driven into the ditch.
Emergency personnel found 64-year-old Arnold Halverson of Kenneth outside of his car. He was dead at the scene.
Authorities believe Halverson went into the ditch in poor weather, then attempted to walk away and died of exposure.
KQAD Radio in Luverne reports authorities don’t know when the accident happened. The case is closed.
