A Babylon man driving a pickup truck early Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, in Lindenhurst was killed after he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on Sunrise Highway, Suffolk police said. Michael Vadala, 25, was alone in the pickup truck when the crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. as he drove a two thousand seven Nissan Titan eastbound on Sunrise Highway near North Monroe Avenue, police said.
Two occupants of an SUV were injured after their vehicle left the roadway along Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, just outside Eisenhower Park. The SUV hit a tree and turned over onto its side around one p.m. Thursday, Aug.Ten, 2017.
Raquel Warburton, 40, of West Babylon, is rescued after crashing her car through a wooden barrier and sand berm at a U-turn on the Robert Moses Causeway Friday, Aug. Four, 2017, almost plunging into the Excellent South Bay. Police said Warburton, who is an NYPD detective, was toasted at the time and was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law because her youthful son was in the car, authorities said.
A pickup truck crashed into an aboveground swimming pool in the backyard of a Levittown home after it collided with another vehicle on Seamans Neck Road at Holmes Street about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, Nassau County police said. The driver of the pickup fled and was later arrested on charges including leaving the scene of an accident with injury, police said, while a 53-year-old masculine driver and a 74-year-old female passenger in the other vehicle were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
One person was transported to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into an exterior wall at the Uniondale post office on Front Street at about 1:11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, Nassau County police said.

At least one person was injured Saturday afternoon June Trio, 2017, when a vehicle lost control on I.U. Willets Road in Searingtown, police said. The car left the road and smashed into a chain-link fence, which held it back from coming in a nearby pond. Firefighters and police were on the scene and an ambulance transported the injured person to an area hospital.

The crash involving a two thousand sixteen Chevrolet Tahoe and a two thousand eleven Jeep Patriot took place at the intersection of Frowein Road and Railroad Avenue just after two p.m., police said. The driver of the Tahoe was taken by ambulance to a hospital with neck and back injuries, authorities said, while an occupant of the Jeep Patriot was being evaluated by Center Moriches Fire Department EMS.

Friday May 12, 2017. The crash occurred just north of Longwood Middle School. The Middle Island Fire Department and Suffolk County police responded. A Sayville man and a Rocky Point woman were earnestly hurt Friday afternoon, May 12, 2017, in Rocky Point when the motorcycle they were railing crashed into a car as it was pulling out of parking lot, Suffolk police said. Thomas Lowth, 49, and his passenger, Sherry Hansen, 45, were listed in serious condition at Stony Brook University Hospital after the Five:20 p.m. crash on Main Street. Police said the crash occurred as Lowth and Hansen were traveling east on Main Street on a two thousand American Eagle motorcycle and collided with a two thousand two Hyundai being driven by Andrew Netusil, 20, of Miller Place. Netusil stayed at the scene after the collision and was not injured.

Rockville Centre police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck Saturday, May 13, 2017, at North Long Beach Road near DeMott Avenue. The road was closed for a investigation. No further details were available.
A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cathedral Avenue and Third Street in Garden City sent at least two people to hospitals with minor injuries on Friday afternoon, May 12. The crash caused a roofing and siding truck to spin on it’s side with ladders and other construction materials falling into the roadway. Another car was sent careening onto the nearby sidewalk. Garden City police and firefighters along with Nassau County EMS personnel were on the scene.

A Babylon man driving a pickup truck early Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, in Lindenhurst was killed after he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on Sunrise Highway, Suffolk police said. Michael Vadala, 25, was alone in the pickup truck when the crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. as he drove a two thousand seven Nissan Titan eastbound on Sunrise Highway near North Monroe Avenue, police said.
Two occupants of an SUV were injured after their vehicle left the roadway along Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, just outside Eisenhower Park. The SUV hit a tree and turned over onto its side around one p.m. Thursday, Aug.Ten, 2017.
Raquel Warburton, 40, of West Babylon, is rescued after crashing her car through a wooden barrier and sand berm at a U-turn on the Robert Moses Causeway Friday, Aug. Four, 2017, almost plunging into the Superb South Bay. Police said Warburton, who is an NYPD detective, was buzzed at the time and was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law because her youthfull son was in the car, authorities said.
A pickup truck crashed into an aboveground swimming pool in the backyard of a Levittown home after it collided with another vehicle on Seamans Neck Road at Holmes Street about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, Nassau County police said. The driver of the pickup fled and was later arrested on charges including leaving the scene of an accident with injury, police said, while a 53-year-old masculine driver and a 74-year-old female passenger in the other vehicle were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

At least one person was injured Saturday afternoon June Three, 2017, when a vehicle lost control on I.U. Willets Road in Searingtown, police said. The car left the road and smashed into a chain-link fence, which held it back from coming in a nearby pond. Firefighters and police were on the scene and an ambulance transported the injured person to an area hospital.

The crash involving a two thousand sixteen Chevrolet Tahoe and a two thousand eleven Jeep Patriot took place at the intersection of Frowein Road and Railroad Avenue just after two p.m., police said. The driver of the Tahoe was taken by ambulance to a hospital with neck and back injuries, authorities said, while an occupant of the Jeep Patriot was being evaluated by Center Moriches Fire Department EMS.

A Sayville man and a Rocky Point woman were earnestly hurt Friday afternoon, May 12, 2017, in Rocky Point when the motorcycle they were railing crashed into a car as it was pulling out of parking lot, Suffolk police said. Thomas Lowth, 49, and his passenger, Sherry Hansen, 45, were listed in serious condition at Stony Brook University Hospital after the Five:20 p.m. crash on Main Street. Police said the crash occurred as Lowth and Hansen were traveling east on Main Street on a two thousand American Eagle motorcycle and collided with a two thousand two Hyundai being driven by Andrew Netusil, 20, of Miller Place. Netusil stayed at the scene after the collision and was not injured.

Rockville Centre police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck Saturday, May 13, 2017, at North Long Beach Road near DeMott Avenue. The road was closed for a investigation. No further details were available.
A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cathedral Avenue and Third Street in Garden City sent at least two people to hospitals with minor injuries on Friday afternoon, May 12.
