Two separate carjackings in Pittsburgh neighborhoods

PITTSBURGH – Two women’s cars were stolen in two separate carjacking incidents overnight.
One person was taken into custody early Monday morning in Pittsburgh after police stopped a car that was stolen during a carjacking Sunday night, authorities said.

The carjacking was reported about Ten:30 p.m. Sunday at Stayton and Rancheria streets in the city`s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.
Authorities said the victim was stopped at a stop sign when two youthful guys threatened her with a gun and made her get out of the car.
Port Authority police spotted the stolen car about 12:30 a.m. Monday in downtown Pittsburgh, officials said. They stopped the car at Arlington and East Warrington avenues in the city`s Allentown neighborhood.
Taylor Wyley-Jones, the woman driving the car, was taken into custody when the vehicle was stopped, police said. She claimed that friends had given her the car a brief time before and she did not know it was stolen.
