Two car accident at 14th and Colfax

A car accident took place on 14th and Colfax streets in Blair at approximately Four:30 p.m. Thursday when an eastbound Buick Regal was struck by the driver of a southbound crimson GMC utility truck. The truck driver paused at the 14th St. stop sign, and evidently did not see the Buick driver.

He struck the Buick’s driver side front tire, causing substantial harm and pushing her vehicle up onto an embankment. A citation will be issued to the truck driver for failure to yield.

Neither car had passengers. Both drivers were examined and released on the scene. The names of those involved have not been released yet.
